I’m posting this because I think this a truth that we don’t realize, especially Christians. Having a merry heart is so important for your physical wellbeing as well as the mental.
You should definitely follow Andrew Wommack. He’s a great teacher of the Word.
They’re looking for a physical, organic answer for everything instead of recognizing that the matters of the heart are more important than anything else. You know, one of the areas that you can see this in real easily is when it comes to longevity and health. Even the average Christian puts so much emphasis on diet and exercise, which I do believe that those are a factor.
That’s a part of it, but this is just andeology. It’s my own opinion. I believe diet and exercise is about 20% of our health.
And I know that that shocks some people because again, the average Christian looks basically at health being 100% whether you’re eating properly and exercising and taking care of yourself in those physical realms. But the Bible says that a merry heart does good like a medicine. And there’s Christians that would eat right and exercise, but they allow discouragement, depression, fear, worry, care, overtake them.
And they don’t put a priority on that. The scripture also says that if you honor your father and mother, you’ll have long life. So honoring authority, being humble and respective to people is one of the keys.
And on and on, a week ago, just listed, the scripture talks about that there are spiritual things that I believe are much more important about your health and longevity than just these physical things. And yet, the average Christian has become humanistic in a sense, that they don’t see blessings as being a spiritual thing. It’s all carnal.
