“If Act 1726 is true, it means none of them came ultimately for the reasons I just laid out. We are here by divine appointment. God put us in this country because God had a mission for this nation unlike any other.
And I’ll tell you, when people start criticizing my country, you’re getting on the wrong side of me. Because the fact of the matter is, yes, we’ve made our share of mistakes. Of course we have, but there is no better place on earth to live, to work, to grow, to fulfill your God-given potential.
No nation has been more inventive. No nation has been more charitable. No nation has done more to assure.
But I know one thing, I tell the world, but I am not an African American, I am an American.
I’m an American. I love my country. God put me here and I’m not going anywhere, and I’m going to defend what God has given us.”
