Was today typical?
It was the first of the month so it certainly wasn’t. Also, It was filled with a different work schedule, laundry, and a club event downtown. Conversations galore and birthday celebrations. Inspiring thoughts and wishful memories. Today is atypical and will be cherished even more.

Tweet of the Day
Vish Burra explaining his identity Today’s interview by Donald Trump at the NABJ was the subject of all the news today. The topic raised the question where one’s identity and ethnicity originates. For the author, part of your identity is taken from your home country. For me that’s American. I can explain it a little bit more but I felt that Vish articulated the concept much more than I could.
Enjoy.

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?
This is an interesting prompt. As I think, my parents didn’t keep many traditions. Unfortunately, they separated when I was six. It’s kind of hard to do that while being a part of two distinct households. However, the main traditions that I kept is being a person of faith and being committed to serving in the church.

If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?
The one dinosaur would be the triceratops. There would be no other reason for other than it is one of the species of dinosaur called out by the blue Power Ranger as he’s transforming into his superpower. It must have been a powerful beast.
I wonder how dinosaurs acted amongst each other? How did they coexist on the planet after sin and death entered the world?
