  • The Daily Prompt – No. 147

Who are your favorite people to be around?

My favorite people are those that I can learn from or those who encourage me to be better. Or it could be a combination of those two categories. The amount of knowledge that I can obtain by being around the right people is tremendous. I don’t say it to be selfish, but they help me to grow. I think it’s so I can use that same wisdom and knowledge to be a blessing to other people.

Share one of the best gifts you’ve ever received.

I remember when I was young I received a Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas. That was my introduction to the world of personal video games. I was so happy and grateful for that gift. Even though it was my first Christmas in which my parents were separated, it showed me my parents still cared and loved me.

As I write I about that special moment, I am thankful to God that they did what they could to give me something.

  • Story Feature

The story feature in Jetpack got disabled!

It was nice quick way to post something. I understand that it was not an option that aligns with the spirit of blogging. This is more of a feature goes with social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.). Nonetheless I appreciate the team at Jetpack (or WordPress) being responsive to what a website is supposed to contain. It’s more about being permanent and static as opposed to being temporary.

I look forward to the new features that will be offered soon.
