What was the best compliment you’ve received?
“You’re doing/performing well.”
I am very honored when people see my performance and they affirm that I’m competent. It makes me feel like I’m not a klutz.
This may seem very basic and simple but it‘s very profound to me. I see (or hear about) a lot of people who are in high positions of authority that are complete nincompoops. I wonder to myself how did they get there. I’m usually baffled by that.
