Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

    Donald J. Trump.

I once sat at his table during a gala event amongst other luminaries.

Another time he complimented me on my hair as he was walking past me at his golf club in Bedminster.

That may not count as meeting him, but I was in close proximity to him.

  • Photo of the Week

I like this slogan of Dream Big Again with Donald Trump. This is unlike the Hope motto that was associated with the Obama campaign in 2008 in that the president has a track record of doing what he promised.

Obama did NOT have that and was able to ride his way to victory based on a vapid campaign that mainly appealed to the youth vote and weak Republican opponent(s).

This year will be different. The author of this blog prays for all those voting this year and for free, fair, and legitimate results for all the candidates and proposition on the ballot.

For this feature that I post every Friday at 12:30, but I post a picture that I have taken on my iPhone from the past week (or two). However, given what happened in the past week, I dedicate this space an iconic photo taken by AP photographer, Evan Vucci. You can read more about his account from last Saturday, here.

Who would you like to talk to soon?

Given the last series of events, I would love to talk to Donald Trump.

  • Art of the Deal

This was written in 1987. I wonder what would be the next big thing for Mr. Trump? Who knows?

You don’t act on an impulse – even a charitable one – unless you’ve considered the downside.

  • Think Big

I like thinking big. I always have. To me it’s very simple: if you’re going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big.

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

For the living category, I would invite Michael Jordan or Donald Trump. They’re both billionaires and were successful in their respective fields. I could just sit and pick their brain about how they faced different challenges.

For those who have passed, I would want to invite King David and King Solomon of Israel. David was mighty man who went through a tribulation before he became king. King Solomon was the richest man to ever live.
