I managed to catch a glimpse of the Empire State Building last Friday walking from the store. The wilting leaves in the foreground give place to the obscure centerpiece of the photo. The building manages to show its brilliance above the rooftops or the smaller buildings in its periphery.

Underneath the Overpass at 42nd Street

Fun Fact: I had not known the name of this building until now. You don’t realize the beauty of Manhattan being a native New Yorker. Moments like these help change your perspective when you see the finished product of all the engineering, design, and construction that went into the final product.
Hard work brings beautiful results
