2025 Mets Schedule
Mr. Met Kart for the 2025 Schedule The New York Mets (or “Metropolitans” as Steve Somers used to call them) are my favorite baseball team. I have been a fan a long time. Actually, I am a fan of all the New York sports teams. I became a more of a Mets fan because they play in the National League. (I didn’t like teams that played in the American League because I thought that it was unfair to the teams in Canada and their fans.)
The 2024 season has been a pleasant surprise, when one considers how disappointing last season was and the lackluster offseason moves that were made by the front office. Francisco Lindor has been fantastic and Jose Iglesias has been a revelation this year.
Because of the new qualification rules, the Mets have a chance for the postseason. At 50-47 they are ABOVE .500 and in the final wild card spot as of this writing. Hopefully, they continue their winning ways into the postseason (and a World Series title) and carry that momentum into next season when they face the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.

2024 Mets Schedule
I really like how MLB doesn’t wait until the current season to end to release their schedule for the next season. With that said they just released their schedule for 2024. This means that Mets have released their schedule.
This is the second year of the “balanced” schedule The Mets will play the other 29 teams. They will play each team in the NL for a home and away series and each team in the AL for at least one series (home or away). In the past the schedule was unbalanced (only facing the other teams in the NL plus some select AL teams).
The Mets start the season at home vs. the Milwaukee Brewers and finish the season away at the Brewers. This is a nice little quirk for the Nets and gives some symmetry for the season.
