Another translation says to be continually aware that your work in the Lord is never futile or wasted. The question I have for myself is what am I doing that I feel is a waste of time? Does it honor the Lord or is it a long-term investment that will bear good fruit?

What book could you read over and over again? I would say the Bible particularly the book of Proverbs. It’s only 31 chapters so one could read a chapter that corresponds to that day of month. (E.g., read chapter 11 on 4/11.). There’s a lot of wisdom in that book and it was mostly written…
