  • The Daily Prompt – No. 110

Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

The most expensive item that I’ve purchased was my MacBook Air in 2020. That was quite a bit of change for me. But it’s been useful to me since I’ve gotten it. I’m very thankful for that device.

Improving Stamina – Update No. 3

I finally did the workout on 12 mph with the 5% incline. What I did would be considered “assisted” sets. 12.0 is very challenging. I had to hold on to the handlebars for at least 6 of the 8 sets. I was really exhausted after completing it. Next time I will aim for how many sets I can do unassisted.

What podcasts are you listening to?

I listen to a lot of sermons and teachers. On my plate are:

    • Andrew Wommack
    • Kenneth Copeland
    • Keith Moore
    • War Room
    • Wallbuilders
    • Jerry Savelle
    • Terri Savelle Foy
    • InfoWars

These are in the rotation. I don’t get to watch each episode everyday but these are chock full of information.

    Do you need time?

I have time. I need to be more efficient with the time that I have already. It sucks to look back on to see how I could have made better decisions to use my time wisely.

Also, this prompt has provided some pretty interesting answers by other people.

  • Something to Read

This is coming from a blog that focuses on politics, but this article gave me hope or as Andrew Wommack calls it, a positive imagination. Here’s an excerpt:

When I share the message, “Live your best life”, it is not without purpose. Every moment that we allow the onslaught to deter us from living our dreams, is a moment those who oppose our nation view as us taking a knee. Do not allow this effort to succeed. You might ask yourself how I can, one person, a flea looking into a furnace, retain an optimistic disposition while all around me seems chaotic and mad?

Ultimately, the collective weight of leftism is putting us in isolation. There are many historic references to this disconcerting sentiment to review with hindsight. However, ultimately the feeling of isolation first begins with a rejection of God. Defeat dark imaginings by embracing Him. Stand in the light of a loving and purposeful God. Hold faith, and evil manifest will run away because the dark whispers will fall on impenetrable ears.
