What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

The one luxury that I cannot live without is indoor plumbing and electricity. (So that would make it two items.) I wake up everyday and thank God that I have those two items to access. Now it’s not like these are what regular people call a “luxury”. However, once you don’t have access to these things, you recognize how much easier life was when you had them.

What are the most important things needed to live a good life?

    Good question.

I will keep it simple. The two things one would need is the Word of God, which is found in the Bible. The second thing is faith in God. With those two, you can have “steak on your plate while you wait” as Andrew Wommack likes to say.

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

Unfortunately, no. I do remember enjoying a bunch of Dr. Seuss books as a kid, but there was no book that would capture my attention as it does now. I really did not get into reading for fun until my teenage years. Aside from that my leisure activities were watching TV, playing video games, or engaging in a bit of basketball.

Do you remember life before the internet?

Of course! I was young. The internet didn’t really become a thing for me until I got to college. That’s when I signed up for my first email account.

Before then, I remember that the main form of digital interaction was through my TV. We used to watch the news and sitcoms at night. My family and I would have weeknight dinners from a takeout restaurant. It was pretty cool.

However, I also had homework and curfews. It wasn’t as if I was living a complete, autonomous existence. They weren’t the prototypical “good ol’ days.”
