Jude: the name is Hebrew and it means “praised”. The original name in Hebrew is “Yehudah” or (“Judah”). The name first appeared in the Bible as one of Jacob’s 12 sons. (He was the fourth oldest.). He is the great ancestor of King David and Jesus.
Jude was also one of Jesus’ half brothers who wrote the book of Jude in the Bible. It appears right before Revelation.
