    Write about your dream home.

My dream home consists of two sites. One is in the western United States with a couple of acres, a pond, some forestry, and sprawling country roads.

The other one is an apartment in Manhattan that has. Ice hardwood floors, 2 bedrooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows with modern art on the walls. There’s a cold water aquarium in the midst of the apartment.

Is there anything you feel too old to do anymore?

Try out for the NBA. I should have started by trying out for more organized basketball leagues when I was younger. By now I would have had better handles like Magic Johnson.

    What’s your favorite candy?

20 years ago, I would have said Snickers. Now i consider my taste buds to be more refined. I’ll have to go with white chocolate peanut M&M’s. They are so sweet and chocolatey <insert gif of Homer Simpson drooling. /> And then you add the peanut for crunch and texture, you might have the perfect candy.

As I write this let’s put Twix chocolate bars as a distant second.

Do you need a break? From what?

    These daily prompts! Just kidding.

I don’t think I need a break from anything per se. I need to be more focused and achieve my goals. In other words, I need to be more consistent towards achievement. So it’s more a break from the negative mindset and the shift towards the achievement mindset.

There we go. That sounds much better.

The most important invention in your lifetime is…

I would’ve used an old cliche and said “sliced bread”. But nowadays there’s artificial intelligence (AI) especially with the advent of ChatGPT.

ChatGPT is making AI accesible to the general population. I’ve seen a couple of my friends utilize it with great results. One friend of mine used it to write a book! Another one used to create trivia questions based on certain criteria that he stipulated.

I’m excited to see how humanity uses AI as it becomes more and more ubiquitous. This is a great example of “creative destruction”.

There’s a certain fear that comes with new technology, but it all depends on who is in a position of authority or cultural leadership when it comes to its application. If wicked people are in charge then AI will be used in an ungodly fashion. If righteous people are in charge then the technology will be used for good.

How does death change your perspective?

Well, i won’t get too spiritually deep, although, it has an impact on my worldview. I’ll say this to be brief, it makes realize that time is not to be wasted. Procrastination is the enemy. Therefore I have to be intentional with my time because there’s not much of it left.

Unless the Master comes back in my lifetime then there’s a time to die. But thank God that He has a plan and it’s time to execute that plan before time is up.

  • The Daily Prompt – No. 3

What’s your favorite thing to cook?

My favorite to cook is some sort of pasta dish. It can be lasagna or a simple (insert type of pasta, e.g., rigatoni, vermicelli, or spaghetti) and meat sauce with ground beef or turkey. There are so many options to take.

The challenge for me is getting the pasta to be al dente. The right amount of firmness can make or break the dish so I have to give it constant attention or just remember to set my timer when I’m cooking.

Also cleaning up the pots, pans, and plates are so critical to me. A clean sink is indicative of self discipline and mastering the kitchen. The meal is not complete until all the dishes and silverware have been cleaned and set to dry.

  • The Daily Prompt – No. 2

    Write about your first computer.

The first computer I’ve ever had made by my best friend’s mom. She was a computer technician and she built computers all the time. I was a freshman in college and she offered to make me one for about $300 dollars. It just came out of the blue

I was so happy about it. I could finally use email and get on instant messenger and act a fool online. That such a long time ago. Wow!

  • Ex-Bloganuary – Prompt No. 1

What do you complain about the most?

I don’t like to complain. I know I have a lot of material to use. Complaining indicates a lack of agency and/or a sense of unthankfulness. For those reasons I stay away from verbalizing my frustrations. Also I’m normally a quiet guy so it doesn’t necessarily go with my M.O.

Of course this is all subject to change.
