Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?
This might be a short entry, but the place that I really enjoyed has been Budapest, Hungary. I’ve gone there for a conference these past 2 springs. It’s been a fresh change of pace from being in New York City.
I recommend that you go and visit, especially in the springtime. It’s beautiful and the Danube River that bisects the Buda and Pest sections of the city is a symbol of the tranquility that Hungary now enjoys after years of turmoil under Soviet oppression.
I don’t have a particular place. I live in New York City, and there are many beautiful, scenic places that exist. For me, my favorite places are normally those where I am at ease and in peace.
It could be somewhere along the West Side Highway where you can see the New Jersey coastline. Or, it could be in Bowling Green where the ferry to Staten Island docks. Or it could be in Macombs Dam Park across the street from Yankee Stadium.
Bottom line, it’s anywhere that I can find serenity. So that goes back to what resonates calm and peace for me.
When it comes to these to geographic classifications, I do not hesitate. I was born in the summer, and prefer warmer weather. For these basic two reasons I prefer the beach.
In the ideal circumstance, the beach is preferable because more often than not it’s an enjoyable backdrop especially when it is sunny and warm outside. The water is always pleasant and a couple of degrees cooler than the air temperature.
The one drawback that I find with the beach is that the sand tends to get in your shoes when you walk on it. That is the one unpleasant feeling that I encounter whenever I go to the beach.
Notwithstanding that one drawback, i would go with the beach over the mountains 60% of the time.
Our family has been blessed to celebrate meals together over the years. Now that my sister and I are grown and my dad, it has imperative that we take these opportunities that we have with each other. We don’t have particular dishes that we cook; we eat out. But there are times throughout the year where we convene frequently.
These are
My Dad’s birthday
Christmas
Thanksgiving
Those dates listed above are more significant to me than what we eat. The people around us make the occasion memorable. I’m fortunate to have those people (family and friends) with me on those special holidays. They make the experience worthwhile.
I wish I could say that I do, but I don’t. I am thinker and I tend to do it too much. Sometimes it gets to a point of paralysis, because I want to have my decision be validated immediately. Unfortunately, life doesn’t work that way.
I need to be more cognizant of my instincts and trust them. The times where I DID NOT trust my instincts, I made the wrong decision. And I’ve suffered the consequences from the decision.
If I’m going to be a successful entrepreneur, which is my life goal, I must be trust my instincts. Simple and plain.

What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?
Every part of my routine is important. However, my routine that I would want to skip is going to the gym in the morning. It’s an essential part of my daily maintenance. But I have to commute there and back. Fortunately when I get my Elon Musk money, I will have a gym in headquarters or have access to a building with gym in the building. Then I wouldn’t have to worry about the commute!
A pet is good because it can provide companionship for those who are lonely and in need of some living comfort. Pets also require a certain level of care in that they need to be fed, sheltered, and given the opportunity to make waste. They also have the ability to communicate their appreciation, which would allow for their caretakers to find appreciation.
