Almost Manhattanhenge on 34th Street I tried to capture the sun rise from the western part of midtown Manhattan as it lined up with the city grid. This was the second attempt in two days. The previous day had slight sprinkles of snow so the sun was not visible.

I like this slogan of Dream Big Again with Donald Trump. This is unlike the Hope motto that was associated with the Obama campaign in 2008 in that the president has a track record of doing what he promised.
Obama did NOT have that and was able to ride his way to victory based on a vapid campaign that mainly appealed to the youth vote and weak Republican opponent(s).
This year will be different. The author of this blog prays for all those voting this year and for free, fair, and legitimate results for all the candidates and proposition on the ballot.
